We are seeking a Director of Nursing to lead our team at an aged care facility in rural Queensland. This is a key leadership opportunity to drive high-quality, person-centered care and make a meaningful impact in rural and remote healthcare.
Job DescriptionThe Director of Nursing will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care services to our residents. This involves overseeing clinical governance, workforce management, and continuous improvement initiatives to meet the evolving needs of our residents and the community.
As a leader, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing strategies to enhance the quality of care services
- Leading and managing a team of nursing staff to achieve excellent patient outcomes
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of care services
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant qualification in nursing or a related field (e.g., Bachelor of Nursing)
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- At least 5 years' experience in nursing leadership or management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
