SAP Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Security Specialist to join our organization. This is a key role in designing, implementing, and managing secure SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, build, and maintain SAP security roles using PFCG to align with business requirements and compliance frameworks.
  2. Remediate and optimize roles to ensure segregation of duties (SoD) compliance.
  3. Provide expert consulting on SAP HANA Application Security, focusing on role-based access control (RBAC) and user authorization.
  4. Conduct security assessments, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  5. Collaborate with business and technical teams to create tailored security solutions.
  6. Contribute to project bids and proposals by providing security expertise.
  7. Share knowledge with internal and client teams through workshops and training.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Australian Baseline security clearance (minimum) with the ability to obtain NV1.
  • 5–10 years of hands-on experience with SAP Security Role Builder (PFCG).
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Security concepts, including authorization objects, composite roles, and profile management.
  • Proven experience with SAP HANA Application Security in large-scale environments.
  • Expertise in implementing and managing controls like RBAC, SoD, and data encryption.
  • Familiarity with tools such as SAP HANA Cockpit, Solution Manager, and NetWeaver Administrator.
  • A solid understanding of industry standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • SAP HANA or SAP Security certifications.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP Cloud Platform.
  • Exposure to security testing tools and secure coding practices.
  • Knowledge of threat modeling and risk frameworks.
