We are seeking an experienced English Teacher to join our team at a renowned SEN school in Dorset. As a key member of our educational team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English lessons to students with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Learning: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students, promoting academic excellence and personal growth.
- Student Support: Provide individualized support to students, addressing their social, emotional, and academic challenges, and working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum plans, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in SEN education and best practices.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to share expertise, resources, and ideas, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Qualifications: PGCE, QTS, or QTLS teaching qualification, plus experience teaching Entry Level 2 & 3, Functional Skills Level 1 & 2, and GCSEs in English and one additional subject.
- Desirable Skills: Background in specialist education, excellent collaboration and communication skills, and a calm, reflective approach in challenging situations.
- Competitive Salary: £25,320 - £39,267.20 per annum (M1-UPS3)
- Part-time Hours: 32 hours per week over 4 days (flexible Monday to Friday)
