Job Description

The Manager Finance and Reporting is a critical role that requires a senior accountant with a deep understanding of Islamic banking principles. You'll be responsible for maintaining the financial integrity of the bank, preparing financial projections, and overseeing internal controls.

You'll work closely with the Chief Finance Officer to ensure the bank's financial sustainability and stability. This role involves preparing financial reports, analysing data, and making recommendations to improve financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare medium and long-term financial projections, including scenario modelling and analysis.
  • Maintain internal controls over financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  • Establish control frameworks for Asset Liability Management (ALM) risks.
  • Analyse financial data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance financial management.

Requirements

">
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business, Commerce, or equivalent.
  • CPA or CA qualification.
  • Proven experience in a similar role in banking, preferably an Australian ADI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively.
