The Senior Health Clinician will work in an Acute Care Mental Health Team, delivering urgent mental health assessments and interventions.
They will collaborate with stakeholders for care planning and provide trauma-informed therapeutic support to adults in crisis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver urgent mental health assessments and risk management services
- Conduct crisis interventions and coordinate referrals for adults in crisis
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop care plans and facilitate discharge
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic support to adults experiencing mental health crises
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work or related field
- Experience working in mental health settings, preferably in acute care
- Strong assessment and intervention skills, with ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
