The Opportunity

We're currently seeking an Industrial Quality Assurance Specialist for our Rolling Stock Manufacturing project in Perth, Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as we deliver cutting-edge rail solutions that improve connectivity and reduce carbon emissions.

Job Description

You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of our rolling stock manufacturing processes, from design to delivery.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the PIQ in their scope
  • Managing Internal NCR: Supporting the NCR team to complete characterization until closure using Problem Solving methodology (e.g. QRQC)
  • Participating in Customer Inspections
  • Qualifying manufacturing teams regarding Self-Inspection
  • Managing Workstation Dynamic Checklists (Self-Inspection & Workstation Inspection)
  • Performing Workstation Audit & Follow-up
  • Performing or participating in inspections of products when required

As an ideal candidate, you'll have a degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or equivalent experience, with proven expertise in managing quality tools, Lean Six Sigma, and familiarity with PFMEA and Control Plans.

We offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated $85,000 - $110,000 per annum based on your skills and experience.
