Job Role Overview

Senior Signalling Design Engineer

This role involves delivering signalling hardware design for projects, encompassing documentation on schedule and budget. As a key member of the team, you will set up hardware, including operating system installation and automated installation development, software integration, and troubleshooting problems with both lab and production hardware.

You will execute detailed hardware design, including documents and drawings, and provide input to development, integration, testing, and maintenance. Additionally, you will control design documents according to company processes, lead reviews to detect design errors, and ensure correction.

The ideal candidate will deliver sub-systems or software configurations for medium and small signalling project schemes, including production and check of configuration documents. You will meet requirements by designing and testing according to allocated project requirements and ensure input data, configuration documents, and executable files are issued and controlled according to company processes.

Furthermore, you will define and execute integration lab tests before handover of the executable files of the configured sub-systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering or Information Technology qualifications / University Degree.
  • More than 5 years of professional experience in Signalling HW design.
