Job Title: Maintenance Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operator to join our team in Colac. As a key member of our Services and Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure and services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks on Council-owned and managed land, roads, bridges, and road reserves;
- Carry out manual and outdoor work activities with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency;
- Operate various types of civil machinery and vehicles;
- Assist in emergency responses and provide support during peak periods;

Requirements:

- Proven experience in manual/outdoor work activities and operating civil machinery;
- Basic written communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment;
- OH&S Construction Induction Card/White Card (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement);
- Truck and civil machinery tickets and experience advantageous;
- Current manual driver's license;
