Executive Culinary Specialist

At Job2Go Pty Ltd, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef to join our team in Craigieburn VIC 3064. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences and ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.

The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $74,000 plus superannuation, offering a competitive compensation package that reflects the skills and experience required.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

• Preparing and cooking a wide variety of dishes to menu specifications and specials, while maintaining consistency and quality.
• Ensuring all food prepared meets the required freshness and ingredient standards.
• Implementing cost control measures where possible, without compromising on quality or taste.
• Training and supervising kitchen staff, including apprentices and trainees, to develop their skills and knowledge.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborating with the management team to plan menus, special events, and inventory management.
• Ordering ingredients and supplies from approved vendors, receiving deliveries, and storing food according to requirements.
• Demonstrating excellent teamwork and organizational skills, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
• Assisting with stock control, inventory, and ordering processes to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations, ensuring food safety and hygiene practices are maintained at all times.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants should possess:

• An Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in Hospitality.
• A Certificate III and IV in Commercial Cookery.
• At least two (2) years of relevant experience as a Chef, preferably in a café environment.
