Job Description

We are seeking a skilled ETL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, coding, and documenting complex programs and scripts.

Responsibilities include:

  • Communicating with business analysts and SMEs to define, understand, and document business requirements.
  • Designing, coding, and documenting complex programs and scripts from agreed specifications, using agreed standards and tools.
  • Identifying and managing risks that are likely to affect delivery of system releases.
  • Developing estimates of effort and duration for development tasks, monitoring own progress, and continually improving estimating accuracy.
  • Reporting on progress, anomalies, risks, and issues associated with allocated development tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience as an ETL developer using DataStage, SQL, TOAD/DB Visualiser, and Data Warehouse environments.
  • Knowledge of RDBMS databases such as DB2, data modelling, and experience in dimensional modelling.
  • Knowledge of DataStage Administrator components and experience using JIRA in an Agile environment.
  • Proven experience in the planning and execution of projects.
  • Relevant qualification in information management, ICT, IT, or related discipline.
