Job Title: Infrastructure Project Engineer

Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum
About the RoleCPB Contractors Pty Limited is seeking an experienced Earthworks Site Engineer to join our team. This critical role involves planning, execution, and completion of earthworks projects in the North East Link Central Package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee all on-site earthworks activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meeting safety and quality standards.
- Site Investigation: Conduct comprehensive site surveys and soil tests to gather essential data for project planning and decision-making.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare and review project drawings, specifications, and related documents to ensure technical aspects are precisely captured.
- Coordination and Communication: Liaise between project managers, contractors, and engineers to facilitate smooth operation and effective communication across project stages.
- Innovative Solutions: Implement creative solutions to overcome project challenges, optimizing resource use and advanced earthmoving techniques.
- Compliance and Inspection: Monitor site activities rigorously, conducting regular inspections to ensure adherence to environmental regulations and safety protocols.
- Technical Support and Training: Provide expert technical support and guidance to site personnel, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: Proven experience as an Earthworks Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in the construction or civil engineering industry.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of earthmoving techniques, soil mechanics, and geotechnical engineering principles.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications or memberships would be highly advantageous.
