We're seeking an experienced Commercial & Strategic Finance Manager who excels at interpreting financial data, identifying opportunities, and advising leadership with confidence. Reporting directly to the COO, you'll be a critical partner in driving financial insights, overseeing forecasting, and guiding strategic decisions across our expanding portfolio of media products, clubs, and events.

The Role
  • Lead and develop the Accountant, overseeing daily finance operations and ensuring accuracy in coding, reconciliations, and month-end close.
  • Review and optimize systems and processes to improve cash collection, payment practices, and reporting efficiency.
  • Develop and implement cashflow forecasting, scenario planning, and dynamic financial modelling to support strategic planning.
  • Evaluate the financial feasibility of new projects, initiatives, and growth opportunities, providing data-backed recommendations to leadership.
Financial Analysis & Strategy
  • Interpret financial results to challenge assumptions and drive insight-led decisions.
  • Identify risks and opportunities early, and recommend strategies to improve financial performance and resilience.
  • Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for the CEO and senior leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with executive team to advise on budgets, ROI, and financial implications of key decisions.
  • Provide timely warnings, strategic input, and regular reporting to support agile, informed decision-making.
Compliance & Governance
  • Oversee financial compliance with statutory and internal policy requirements.
  • Monitor and enhance internal controls, recommending enhancements to strengthen governance as the business scales.
  • You're a visionary thinker with attention to detail. You're commercially savvy, proactive, and excel at translating complex numbers into clear, strategic advice. You're comfortable with ambiguity, thrive in a dynamic environment, and can balance strategy and operational oversight.
