Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced construction professional to lead minor works projects, delivering high-quality outcomes and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and manage project tenders, quotations, and estimates, utilizing computer-based estimating packages.
- Prepare accurate and timely documentation, including material lists and construction programs.
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to meet project requirements, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
About the Role:
- Strong background in building and construction trade, with experience in Estimating and contract management.
- High proficiency in computer-based estimating software and a solid understanding of HR practices.
- Current Car License and clean Criminal History required.
- Must reside in Cairns or a surrounding area within reasonable driving distance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the development of best practices in estimating, costing, and contract management, enhancing the organization's capabilities.
