We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team at our Residential Aged Care Home in Bribie Island. This is a part-time position working 5 days per fortnight, providing physiotherapy services to residents and contributing to their overall well-being.
The ideal candidate will possess current registration with AHPRA as a qualified Physiotherapist and a minimum of two years' experience in physiotherapy, preferably in aged care. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for building rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments, set goals, and deliver interventions to enhance the physical mobility and independence of residents.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support residents in maintaining their dignity and quality of life.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to a positive and supportive care environment that promotes resident well-being.
- Current registration with AHPRA as a qualified Physiotherapist.
- Minimum two years' experience in physiotherapy, with preference given to those with experience in aged care.
- Availability to work 5 days per fortnight, with flexibility to meet the needs of the service.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in using computer-based systems to maintain accurate records and track resident progress.
