Job Summary

Guzman y Gomez is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of cooks, while also providing support to the Restaurant Manager in overseeing key metrics such as COGS, labor, and operating expenses.

Requirements

  • Experience in a kitchen / cooking role within a busy hospitality environment
  • Experience leading and developing a team
  • Ability to understand, interpret and explain key kitchen financial performance indicators
  • Certificate in commercial cookery or equivalent experience
  • Sound understanding of food safety concerns
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
