About Clare Valley Wine Region

Discovery Parks Clare is situated in the picturesque Clare Valley wine region, just 90 minutes drive from Adelaide. Our park offers a unique blend of natural beauty and luxury amenities.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Grounds and Maintenance Attendant to join our team at Clare Valley Wine Region. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance tasks, grounds upkeep, renovations, irrigation system management, and waste disposal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and repair of facilities, equipment, and vehicles
  • Grounds maintenance, including gardening and lawn care
  • Renovations and minor construction projects
  • Irrigation system management and water conservation
  • Waste disposal and recycling practices
  • Manual handling, chemical usage, and machinery operation

Requirements

  • Fitness level: physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg
  • Availability: flexible roster across Monday to Sunday
  • Skills: previous trade experience or handyman skills, gardening/groundskeeping knowledge, pool maintenance experience (advantageous)
  • Certifications: current valid driver's licence, WHS awareness, manual handling techniques

This role requires extensive manual handling tasks, as well as the safe operation of machinery and chemicals. In order to ensure success, applicants must have strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently. Applicants should also be proficient in using hand tools, power tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
