Digital Marketing Expert

The SMSF Association is the peak professional body for Australias self-managed superannuation sector. We are seeking a seasoned Digital Marketing Specialist to help us expand our national influence and deliver exceptional value to our members.

This role involves taking ownership of integrated campaigns, content creation, and digital engagement that drives member acquisition, retention, and event participation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute end-to-end marketing strategies (planning, execution, optimisation, reporting).
  • Create engaging content across digital, social, print, and events platforms.
  • Leverage CRM and automation tools to deliver segmented, impactful campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve strategic goals.
  • Drive event marketing initiatives for flagship conferences and community events.
  • Analyse tracking metrics to refine and improve campaign performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing or communications.
  • Proven track record of running integrated campaigns.
  • Strong copywriting and content creation abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and/or marketing automation.
  • Familiarity with WordPress and Google Analytics 4.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop) or equivalent expertise.
  • Confidence in using analytics to track, report, and enhance outcomes.
  • Experience working in a membership or not-for-profit environment.
  • Hybrid flexibility with an Adelaide CBD base requiring a minimum of 3 days in the office.
  • A collaborative team environment where ideas can make a meaningful impact.
