Delivering Excellent Patient-Centred Care as a Clinical Pharmacy Manager

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacy Manager who will lead our clinical pharmacy services, working closely with medical, nursing, and allied health teams to deliver exceptional, patient-centred medicine-related care. Job Description:Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the provision of safe and efficient clinical pharmacy services to patients in both the North West Regional Hospital (NWRH) and Mersey Community Hospital (MCH).
- Coordinate clinical pharmacy services, aligning service provisions with relevant standards such as the Advanced Pharmacy Australia (AdPha) Standards of Practice for Clinical Pharmacy.
- Implement service delivery frameworks, such as the Australian Government's Guiding Principles, to achieve continuity in medication management.
- Measure and analyse information on the effectiveness of service provisions, adjusting priorities and implementing initiatives to improve service efficiency, patient care, and medication safety.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in the provision of clinical pharmacy services in various practice settings, aligned with contemporary clinical pharmacy service models.
- Experience leading clinical pharmacy services in a hospital setting, with demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice, and workplace guidelines applicable to pharmacy practice in public hospitals.
- Track record of using initiative in the implementation of practices and projects directed towards good medication management principles.
