As a Foster Care Team Leader, you will be responsible for implementing effective case management strategies to ensure that children, young people, families, and carers receive integrated and coordinated quality services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support a team of case managers to ensure children in out-of-home care are placed in safe, stable, and suitable environments.
  • Implement effective case management to ensure integrated and coordinated quality services for children, young people, families, and carers.
  • Maintain high standards of child-centered, strength-based practice and personal growth.

Essential Criteria

  • Degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • 5 years' experience working with children and families, preferably in an OOHC setting.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Current unrestricted driver's license.
  • Ability to work as a part of a team and independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to write reports to a professional standard.
  • Experience in Case Management.
  • Current Working with Children Check clearance or willingness to obtain.
