Job Details

Matrix Education is seeking a highly skilled Primary Content Writer to join our team. As a Primary Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality lesson content and assessments for year 3 to 6 in English, Mathematics, and Critical Thinking.

This is a casual role based out of our Sydney CBD office, working with a collaborative team of writers and editors. The successful candidate will work regular days and hours each week on writing and resource projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create primary course content that meets the outcomes of the NESA syllabus and methods of assessment.
  • Plan and write course outlines and assessments.
  • Work autonomously to meet resource deadlines upon receiving content and lesson briefs.
  • Collaborate with team members on the continuous improvement of course content and resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor qualifications or current studies in Education, Teaching, Journalism, or Media.
  • Teaching or tutoring experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of the NESA stage 2 and 3 syllabus and methods of assessment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a detailed understanding and execution of English grammar.
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
