About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Operations Manager to oversee our inbound and import functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end process for safe and timely arrival of all inbound freight
- Track shipments and escalate with freight forwarders to avoid delays
- Review freight options and lead optimization projects to reduce lead-time and customs clearance lead time
- Liaise with warehouse team for inbound planning and attend daily DC meeting to align DC on incoming shipments
- Manage shipping administration, including liaising with freight forwarder, customs clearance agent, and customs
- Freight tracking and reconciliation for all divisions
- Manage and be responsible for all inbound transfers, manage any credit notes for damages or shortages, and liaise with global for all imports for the Watches, Fine and High Jewelry categories
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Warehousing, Logistics, or significant hands-on experience
- Advanced experience of Excel and be a daily hands-on user, along with exposure or knowledge of TMI and Manhattan (WMS) systems
- The ability to create effective working relationships with all stakeholders, both internal and external, to achieve the desired outcomes for the business
- Good analytical skills and the ability to gather, interpret, and disseminate information
- Previous experience in inventory management, including knowledge of inventory management process, procedures, and systems, with retail or FMCG experience highly regarded
