Ecologist Opportunities

We are seeking expressions of interest from skilled Field Ecologists who are passionate about starting or furthering their career in ecological consulting. This is a unique opportunity to join a supportive and growing team that offers secure workflow, incredible project variety, and the chance to make a real difference.

As a Field Ecologist with our NSW ecology team, you will be part of a vibrant group of professionals working on exciting projects that balance development with strategic conservation and offsetting outcomes. Our ideal candidate is a motivated graduate with some prior experience in conducting ecological field work, a strong desire to work flexible hours and travel for extended periods, and a demonstrated passion for flora and/or fauna.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting ecological surveys and developing targeted species surveys
  • Collaborating with peers, clients, and government agencies to deliver quality outcomes
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders

About You:

Our ideal candidate has:

  • A degree or post-graduate qualification in environmental science, botany, zoology, or a related field
  • Experience in undertaking ecological surveys and a demonstrated passion for flora and/or fauna
  • Prior knowledge of NSW Plant Community Types is highly regarded
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a professional team
