Ventia's Yarra Valley Water contract is seeking skilled professionals to join their planned works team. This opportunity offers a permanent full-time position with stability, growth prospects, and the chance to upskill.

Successful applicants will be responsible for maintaining underground water and sewer systems based in Mitcham, Melbourne. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar field or be willing to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct job pre-start safety analysis and update site safety risk assessment
  • Carry out excavation works to locate water pipes and sewer systems
  • Perform manual labour activities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders

About You

  • Field experience in maintenance of water networks is desirable but not essential
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Proficiency in digital communication and data capture devices
  • Ability to undertake manual labour activities
  • Excavator experience and license (desirable)
  • Electrical Spotters ticket (desirable)
  • Certificate III in Civil Construction/Water Operations is advantageous
