Nurse Specialist Role

At Icon Group, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality cancer care services. We have a new opportunity for a Clinical Nurse to join our team at our Icon Cancer Centre in Windsor Gardens.
This role will involve providing exceptional cancer care to our patients and their families, managing and coordinating the administration of chemotherapy and supportive care treatments in a busy day hospital environment.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and support to the nursing team
- Promote clinical excellence with an emphasis on safe and high quality nursing practice
- Support implementation of new systems, therapies and clinical trials
- Actively motivate others and maintain an environment of continuous quality improvement
The successful candidate will be required to have current nursing registration with AHPRA and post-graduate or willingness to work towards oncology nursing qualification. Additionally, they will need to have minimum 3 years post-graduation nursing experience, minimum of 2 years clinical experience in Oncology Nursing, and membership of relevant professional bodies.
About Our CentreOur centre is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a 14-chair day oncology hospital, scalp cooling system, radiation therapy treatments, and on-site pathology/pharmacy.
