The role of 2IC Room Leader is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a passionate individual to lead a team of experienced Educators in accordance with policy and procedures.
This position involves developing the Children's Program, reflecting on Early Years Learning Framework guidelines, ensuring a safe environment for staff and children, and maintaining accurate records.

- Develop the Children's Program, incorporating Early Years Learning Framework guidelines to promote high-quality learning outcomes.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for staff and children, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
- Ensure accurate records are kept in regards to accident, incident, injury, illness, and medication, facilitating effective management and support.
- Liaise with families regarding day-to-day happenings, promoting open communication and transparency.
- Hold a minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent), demonstrating a strong foundation in early childhood education principles.
- Have experience working as a Room Leader in an early childhood setting, showcasing leadership and team management skills.
- Hold a current Working with Children Check, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Be willing to obtain a First Aid Certificate, enhancing your ability to respond to emergencies.
- Have an excellent understanding and working knowledge of the NQF, enabling you to develop and implement high-quality programs.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- Be able to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment, contributing to a positive and productive work culture.
