A unique opportunity is available to gain experience and broad exposure in Cardiac Imaging and General Cardiology.
This role will encompass general cardiology, including acute, inpatient, and outpatient care, as well as high-volume echocardiography services. You will work with Australia's leading provider of cardiology services in a regional centre across the public and private sectors.
The service provides a busy inpatient and outpatient service with rapid turnaround reporting and clinical input into decision making in a close-knit multi-specialty hospital. The service offers the opportunity to advance your skills in transthoracic echocardiography (TOE) and stress echo, allowing you to practice independently to CSANZ standards.
In addition, you will have the chance to work with our network to provide exposure to computed tomography coronary angiography (CTCA) in Australia's only cardiology-run national CTCA service. This will include progression towards Level A ANZCTCA certification for motivated individuals and involvement in local and national case review meetings and working groups.

We are seeking a post-FRACP cardiologist or eligible overseas-trained cardiologist who requires supervised/peer review practice as per RACP guidelines.
- Completion of General Cardiology Training and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians or assessment by the RACP as substantially comparable for overseas-trained cardiologists.
