Teaching Role

We are seeking experienced ELICOS teachers to join our international college in Brisbane. As a teacher of English to international students, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress and providing academic support.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing ELT curricula, syllabi and lessons.
  • Delivering motivating and stimulating lessons using a range of methods and materials.
  • Monitoring and recording student progress and intervention strategies.
  • Designing and setting formative and summative assessments.
  • Monitoring attendance records and reporting on student performance.
  • Providing academic counselling and guidance to students.
  • Completing administrative tasks and maintaining accurate records.
  • Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with students, colleagues and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Relevant teaching qualification (e.g. TESOL, DELTA, CELTA).
  • Experience in teaching English language courses to international students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement.
