The role of Document Control Specialist involves overseeing the management and organization of project documents, ensuring they are accurate, consistent, and compliant with relevant regulations. This includes coordinating documentation for assurance reviews, maintaining document management systems, and providing training to project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Manage document control processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements">
  • Support Capital Delivery projects by ensuring document control processes are followed and systems are used effectively">
  • Coordinate documentation for Infrastructure SA (ISA) Assurance Reviews, including uploads to SharePoint and ongoing compliance with ISA guidelines">
  • Develop and deliver targeted training and coaching to project teams on document control systems and processes">
  • Perform quality assurance reviews and lead continuous improvement initiatives for documentation and control practices">
  • Maintain and administer document management systems, such as Aconex, M-Files, and SharePoint">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Extensive experience in document management and control, ideally within large infrastructure or government projects">
  • Strong understanding of document control systems and transmittal processes">
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills and high attention to detail">
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with project teams and stakeholders">
  • Experience with electronic document management systems such as Aconex, SharePoint, or similar platforms">
  • Proven ability to support and deliver process improvements and maintain system accuracy">
  • Well-developed skills in Microsoft Office applications, eg. Word, Excel, PowerPoint">
