Religious Education Teacher Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Religious Education teacher to join our team on a temporary full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that cater to the learning needs of all students.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective teaching strategies to support student learning
  • Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and challenging learning environment
  • Provide appropriate notice and feedback on assessment tasks in line with college requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of student achievement
  • Work collaboratively within the college community to set high, achievable goals for yourself and your students
Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Current qualifications and experience teaching Religious Education, or be a new graduate with approval to teach
  • Strong ICT skills with the ability and willingness to integrate technology into teaching where relevant
  • Strong communication and organisational skills ensuring reporting deadlines are met
  • Ability to motivate students and foster a love of learning
  • Flexibility to differentiate learning activities and assessment techniques to support a wide range of learners
