Senior Data Scientist

The Senior Data Scientist plays a pivotal role in driving data-driven initiatives, developing advanced analytics solutions, and contributing to the strategic direction of the business through insight-led decision-making.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead large-scale data analysis using statistical methods and machine learning techniques to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Create predictive models to forecast key business metrics such as sales performance, customer behavior, and supply chain activity.
  • Present complex findings in accessible insights through data visualization and storytelling, tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders to support strategic planning and business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver and embed data solutions within business processes.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to building a strong, collaborative data culture.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging tools, techniques, and technologies in data science and advanced analytics.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • A strong blend of software engineering and statistical expertise, with end-to-end delivery capability
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining data models
  • Proficiency in Python or R, and familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A self-starter who is comfortable working autonomously in a project-based, fast-paced setting
  • Industry experience is flexible; exposure to consumer goods or beverage sectors would be advantageous
