Mathematics Department Head

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mathematics Leader to join our team at Holy Trinity Catholic Primary School.

The successful applicant will be responsible for leading and managing the Mathematics department, ensuring that our students receive a high-quality education in this subject area.

• Lead and manage the Mathematics department, including planning, implementing, and evaluating curriculum programs.
• Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that support student learning and achievement.
• Provide professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their teaching practices and stay up-to-date with best practices in Mathematics education.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and developing strategies to address any gaps in student learning.
• Develop and maintain relationships with parents and the wider community to promote a positive image of the school and its Mathematics program.

• Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is desirable.
• Commitment to child safety and maintaining best practices to ensure this.
• Current VIT registration.
