Barista Position at Felons Brewing Co.

Felons Brewing Co. is a contemporary brewery nestled in Brisbane, offering an exceptional experience for beer enthusiasts and coffee aficionados alike. As a Barista, you will be part of a passionate team that delivers balanced beers and great coffee while maintaining a strong connection to nature and the local community.

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Barista to join our team on a casual or full-time basis. This role involves working early mornings, starting from 6am, with a flexible schedule from Monday to Sunday.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supervising and motivating a team of baristas to provide exceptional customer experiences
  • Managing daily operations, including stock management, rostering, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Coaching and supervising a diverse team to prioritize team culture and maintain a positive work environment
  • Leading by example and supporting colleagues to achieve their best performance
  • Assisting guests with feedback and addressing concerns promptly
  • Maintaining a high level of knowledge about our products

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A passion for great coffee and beer
  • Proven barista experience in a fast-paced, high-volume coffee venue
  • Strong barista skills and specialty coffee experience
  • Availability to work early mornings and weekends
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A valid Queensland RSA certification
