Job Overview

This role entails conducting routine fluid checks and performing basic maintenance tasks. Typically, a Quick Lube Service Technician will change vehicle oil, inspect transmission fluid levels, examine various belts and filters, and check air pressure and gauges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough system checks to ensure components are secure and functioning properly
  • Isolate problematic systems or components
  • Operate vehicles for testing purposes
  • Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles
  • Repair or replace worn parts before they cause damage
  • Utilize power tools, machine tools, and hand tools for various tasks
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Ford Certification is highly valued
  • Previous experience at a Ford dealership is an asset
  • Able to quickly identify problems
  • In-depth knowledge of automobiles
  • Effective analytical and communication skills
  • Strong reading, computer, and mathematical abilities
  • Able to learn new technology and repair procedures
  • Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical degree
  • ASE certifications
  • Minimum 1 year experience in the service department
  • Able to lift 50 pounds and work extended periods on feet
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Positive and friendly attitude
