About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team at KinCare. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly customers in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to customers, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and mobility support.
  • Assist customers with meal preparation and shopping, as well as provide social support and transport to lifestyle activities.
  • Deliver complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia, and provide respite and emotional support.
  • Work collaboratively with customers, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.

Requirements
  • Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support, Disability, or Nursing.
  • At least 6 months of experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medications.
  • Additional immunisations, including diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, hepatitis B, measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and TB (if applicable).
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle.
