Disability Support Worker Job Description

We are seeking experienced support workers who share our passion for delivering person-centred care.

The role of a Disability Support Worker is varied and exciting, with opportunities to assist clients in their daily lives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individualised support to clients with disabilities
  • Assisting clients with daily living tasks, such as personal care and medication management
  • Accompanying clients to appointments and activities
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Cert III in Disability or equivalent experience
  • A current Working with Children check
  • First aid/CPR certificates (current)
  • A full and clean Australian driver's license
  • Punctuality, reliability, and flexibility
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Empathy and proactivity in working with clients

Please note that you must have the right to live and work in Australia to be considered for this role.

This casual employment arrangement offers shifts available across Monday to Friday, including afternoons, days, evenings, mornings, nights, public holidays, rotating rosters, shift work, and weekend availability.
