Lead Cybersecurity Specialist Role Summary

Cybersecurity Leadership Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned cybersecurity professional to take on a pivotal leadership role within our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and delivering high-quality cybersecurity solutions, as well as exceptional communication skills to convey complex information to various stakeholders.

The successful applicant will lead cyber assessments, engage in technical discussions, develop and implement robust Operational Technology (OT) security solutions, and apply comprehensive cybersecurity and cyber risk frameworks. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading with Impact: Participating in client sessions and driving successful outcomes through proactive participation.
  • Collaboration: Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to gather business requirements and ensure alignment and understanding of cybersecurity needs.
  • Assessment and Strategy: Conducting cyber risk assessments and creating cyber risk management strategies using industry-recognized frameworks like NIST CSF and ISA62443.
  • Design and Delivery: Working alongside project teams to design and deliver high-quality cybersecurity deliverables, including designs, solution architectures, implementation plans, policies, and standards.
  • Monitoring and Management: Overseeing project statuses, resource plans, and budgets to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project goals.

Requirements for Success Include:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, coupled with 2-4 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or a related domain.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
  • In-depth knowledge of OT cybersecurity frameworks, such as NIST 800-82 and ISA62443, to guide assessments and solutions.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in project management, ensuring timely delivery and scope adherence.
  • Strong strategic problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to navigate complex challenges.
