Legal Advisor

This position involves delivering high-quality, timely legal services in respect of workplace law matters.
The successful candidate will provide a professional service to achieve the best outcome for our organization and its members. This includes representing medical practitioners and practices in courts, tribunals, and inquiries, and instructing counsel in complex cases.
- Work with the claims department and our members on workplace law issues, including compliance, termination, discrimination, investigations, and disciplinary matters.
- Contribute to the collective knowledge and learning of our teams on employment, safety, and discrimination issues.
To be successful, you will have relevant tertiary legal qualifications, an unsupervised practicing certificate as a Solicitor, and post-admission experience in respondent and/or applicant employment law.
