Job Description:

Take your maintenance career to the next level by working as a skilled Handyperson. This is an exciting opportunity to join our programmed-skilled workforce and be part of a leading provider of sustainable solutions.

As a permanent full-time employee, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including:

  • Patching and plastering walls
  • Performing ad-hoc painting tasks
  • Installing bollards and sheds
  • Repairing door frames, hinges, and replacing doorknobs
  • Utilising hand and power tools for various maintenance tasks
  • Conducting general building and retail maintenance
  • Providing quotes for small works
  • Assisting with furniture moving
  • Conducting basic carpentry, plastering, and minor painting repairs
  • Repairing window furnishings
  • Ensuring vehicles are clean, tidy, and regularly maintained
  • Maintaining tools and small plant items to mechanical and presentation standards
  • Recording and reporting job and time sheets promptly
  • Purchasing necessary supplies
Key Responsibilities:
  • Keeping maintenance records for all equipment
Required Skills & Qualifications:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who has:

  • Previous Maintenance Handyperson experience (ideally 3 years)
  • Previous Carpentry experience is advantageous
  • A current Victorian (or Australian Equivalent) Drivers License
  • Confidence with hand & power tools
  • Good communication skills (reading and writing)
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift up to 15kgs
  • Availability to work 5 days a week
