About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Data Analyst to join our client, a Tier One Mining Operator, on a 12-month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with engineering service providers and teams to capture data, create reports, and facilitate custom database queries from the database.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain databases using SQL Server, including data modeling, stored procedures, and views.
  • Design and implement reports using Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate Flow.
  • Work with engineering teams to capture data and create custom database queries.
  • Collaborate with external engineering service providers to ensure effective data management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Proven experience with the Microsoft suite, particularly Power Apps, SQL Server, and Power BI.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Competent in database tools, including ingestion and reporting project experience.
  • Flexible work approach, including some domestic and international travel.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with project functions, such as Project Controls, Estimating, Scheduling, and Data Management.
  • Knowledge of project and engineering performance.
