Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Brisbane. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for performing general day-to-day maintenance tasks and project work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment and systems
- Conduct project work, including installation, commissioning, and testing of mechanical equipment
- Work collaboratively with other tradespeople and technical staff to achieve project goals
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety protocols and procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance work processes and efficiency
Requirements
- Australian recognized Trade Qualification - Mechanical
- Construction Industry Induction (blue/white card)
- Experience working in Oil & Gas
- Current Drivers Licence
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to lead, plan, and execute works
- Work to a high standard and be passionate about what you do
- Demonstrated leadership qualities in the application of safe systems of work
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Trade Cert
- Confined Space Entry
- Work at Heights
- High Risk Work Licence (EWP, LF)
