About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter to join our team at UGL's Manufacturing & Maintenance business in Broadmeadow, Newcastle NSW.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity to work on our C-44 Loco Build Line, conducting control and power circuit terminations & crimping, installation of conduit (rigid & flexible), installation of cable ducting, cable harness' and looms. Disconnect and reconnect of motors and equipment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Australian recognised trade certificate and hold a Certificate of Proficiency – Electrical
  • Experience with - Panel Wiring, Cable Harness / Looming & Termination, Mil Spec Plug Termination & Assembly, Cable Harness Manufacturing
  • Harness Schedule & Device Report Interpretation
  • Ability to Interpret Engineering Drawings
  • Experience in – Hydraulic Crimping, Insulated Lug Crimping, Pin Crimping for various types of Plugs
  • Knowledge of Liquitite Conduit Fittings
  • Ability to work to a fast paced production schedule
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
