About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated advanced trainee to join our team in Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine. This 12-month position offers a unique opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide consultative support to medical and surgical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and outpatient care to adolescents and young adults with a broad range of acute and chronic medical and psychological issues.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to the development of our service, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
- Participate in after-hours ward-based cover for Monash Children's Hospital.
Requirements
- Advanced trainee in RACP in Paediatrics or Adult Medicine.
- Registered medical practitioner with AHPRA.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
