About the Role

Nine's Data, Product & Technology - Enterprise team drives commercial growth and deeper engagement with data-driven solutions. As a vital contributor to our responsible data and AI strategy, you will be instrumental in implementing and maintaining robust AI and Data Governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You'll be hands-on in establishing and upholding Nine's AI and Data Governance frameworks.
  • You will support the management of key data assets, ensuring their quality and integrity are fit for purpose.
  • You will conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) for new projects, guaranteeing compliance with the Privacy Act and the APPs.
  • You'll help identify and mitigate risks associated with data privacy and the responsible use of AI.

You will partner with teams across the business to embed a 'Privacy-by-Design' culture and contribute to training programs that promote data-driven insights.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data privacy, data governance, or technology risk.
  • A strong understanding of the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
