Medical Practitioner Opportunity in a Coastal Location

The estimated annual salary for this General Practitioner role is around $250,000.
We are an accredited training practice with RACGP and ACRRM, affiliated with the University of Wollongong for teaching medical students. As a GP in our practice, you will have access to dedicated treatment room services, including wound dressings, immunisations, spirometry, doppler, ECGs, and an INR clinic. Chronic Disease Management is provided by GPs, mental health nurses, and Practice Nurses, while Maternity Services involve shared care arrangements with obstetricians and hospital maternity services. Our centres also allow for telehealth specialist consultation services.
Procedural Treatments include minor excisions, biopsies, removal of foreign bodies, insertion of Implanon, and other hormonal treatments. You will also be involved in intravenous fluid replacement, catheter insertion, plaster application for fractures, intravenous antibiotic therapy, allergy desensitisation, wedge resection, toenail removal, suturing of lacerations, patient resuscitation, and stabilisation in cardiac arrest.
A large practice support network is in place, ensuring a smooth induction period for new GPs. Clinical Mentors are available, and assistance towards Fellowship studying is provided to all GP staff. This full-time position includes working one weekend per month, with 19AB exemption available (suitable for VR GPs). However, it's not suitable for doctors needing MDRAP.
