We are seeking an experienced Support Services Coordinator to join our team at the Department of Surgery, University of Melbourne. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to the Precinct Lead at Austin Health.

Key Responsibilities**

You will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating complex schedules, arranging meetings, appointments, functions, and travel for the Precinct Lead.
  • Assisting with the coordination of clinical unit meetings, minutes, correspondence, and oversight of unit activities.
  • Managing day-to-day correspondence, responding to emails, processing and prioritizing incoming and outgoing mail, and drafting routine clinical and academic correspondence.
  • Acting as secretary to appropriate committees and meetings, preparing and distributing agendas, minutes, and action items.
  • Maintaining oversight of honorary members of the precinct, arranging reviews, coordinating with the DoS Academic Titles Committee, and supporting salaried academic members with annual performance reviews.
