Warehouse HSE Specialist

Expertise in health, safety, and environmental management is essential for a Warehouse HSE Specialist. The role requires the development and implementation of effective HSE plans, procedures, and systems relevant to warehousing and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections of warehouse areas, loading/unloading zones, and plant and equipment.
  • Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of all plant and equipment, including adherence to pre-start checks, maintenance schedules, and operator competencies.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses related to warehousing and logistics, and develop effective preventative actions.
  • Deliver specialized training and inductions related to warehouse safety, manual handling, forklift operation, and the safe use of various plant and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports with a focus on warehouse and equipment-related metrics.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to integrate HSE considerations into all aspects of warehouse management, transportation, and equipment utilisation.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation and regulations.
