Qualifications Required
To become a TAFE Queensland educator, you must possess one of the following training and assessment credentials:
- TAE40122 or TAE Certificate IV in Training and Assessment;
- TAE Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAELLN411 Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills and TAEASS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools;
- TAE Diploma of Vocational Education and Training;
- TAE Diploma of Training Design and Development;
- Higher-level qualification in adult education (approved by TAFE Queensland).
Additional Mandatory Requirements
Possession of relevant formal vocational qualifications (Certificate III minimum, Australian equivalent):
- UEE33020 (Certificate III in Electrical Fitting);
- UEE43020 (Certificate IV in Electrical Equipment and Systems);
- UEE40720 (Certificate IV in Electronics and Communications);
- UEE42720 (Certificate IV in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Servicing);
- UEE50520 (Diploma of Electronics and Communications Engineering);
- UEE53020 (Diploma of Electrical Systems Engineering);
and
- Ability to demonstrate a broad range of current industry skills and experience.
