Job Summary:

Bodewell Community Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Workers to provide high-quality care to our clients in their homes. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients, promoting their independence, and supporting their well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide domestic care, including cleaning and laundry services
  • Assist with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Offer respite duties, providing companionship and social support to our clients
  • Transport clients to appointments and engage in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being

Requirements:

  • Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or Disability
  • Valid driver's license with a reliable, registered vehicle and current comprehensive car insurance
  • Current First Aid, CPR, and Manual Handling Certificates
  • Recent National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)
  • Ability to work mornings (flexibility offered)
  • NDIS Worker screening check
  • Current Working with Children's Check (employee status)
  • Willingness to travel 30-35 minutes to and from client homes
  • Proof of flu and COVID vaccinations
