Regulatory Policy Specialist

At ASIC, we are shaping the future of the financial system to ensure a fair, strong and efficient market for all Australians. We are looking for a highly skilled Regulatory Policy Specialist to contribute to delivering on our purpose, vision, and strategic priorities.
The Regulatory Reform and Implementation team manages ASIC's policy and law reform projects. As a key member of this team, you will provide expert advice on legislative changes, regulatory issues, and law reform initiatives to support better outcomes for consumers.
You will be responsible for contributing to regulatory policy projects in alignment with ASIC's strategic objectives and providing input on Treasury responses and government initiatives. You will also develop policy and provide implementation advice on law reforms, legislative changes, and emerging regulatory issues in consultation with senior managers.
- Key Responsibilities:

- Support data-driven decision-making by identifying methods to effectively collect, manage, and communicate regulatory insights

- Provide technical expertise and guidance on sector-specific legal and regulatory issues, contributing to improved regulatory outcomes and impactful law reform
