About the Role

AEMO is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Systems Performance team. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in managing generator performance in the energy transition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate the technical performance of generators and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Investigate power system incidents to identify root causes and provide analysis for potential actions or improvements.
  • Contribute to the analysis of various power system performance issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Write and review technical reports to ensure high-quality output.
  • Liaise with internal teams and NEM participants to provide advice and facilitate information exchange.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus on power systems or power electronics.
  • Experience in the field of power systems, with a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
